We were foolish enough to think this was a legitimate firm. After purchasing a website, I was requested to transfer my domain and email addresses to Connect. I almost did, and I would have lost my company’s web address and ownership. Alex (or whatever identity he used that day) would reject phone calls, e-mails, and even pretend to be someone else. I have a strange voice mail tape of Alex claiming to be someone else with a Scottish accent. I ultimately decided to threaten legal action. Only then did Alex notice and begin to take calls. Needless to say, we stopped working with them.
